Lastly, what I've found with tracks is that it's quite easy to get the files in the wrong place. I don't have a G27 but I do have a DFGT, and when I want to change a setting I just open the profiler, make my edit and close it before I start Race07. Maybe even try the Caterhams or Radicals that come with Race07 to learn how they behave, before stepping up to something much more powerful like the Corvette (I'm assuming you mean the one from the GT Evo expansion). If you're using anything other than the BMW, then I'd suggest switching to the BMW as an 'introduction' to rear-wheel drive. They are lower powered, slower and all front wheel drive apart from the BMW.

WTCC cars will be significantly easier to drive than a Corvette. Thanks for the help, I know that's a lot of questions and a lot of reading and I appreciate any help and answers I can get. I've added singular tracks just fine by adding them to game data > locations and it works fine but for the track pack do I have to add all the tracks from the pack at the same time? I tried adding one track from the pack like I normally would and it seemed to work fine but then the screen was just black and the track wouldn't play properly so I don't know if it's just that specific track or if you have to do something different when adding a track pack vs a single track. Also if I just start the game from steam do I need the Logitech Profiler open, will my wheel settings be messed up if the Profiler is closed, or do you only need it open when you want to change settings?įinally I downloaded some track pack with some F1 tracks in it and I have a question on how to add the tracks. Is it not possible to have it run through steam when you launch Race 07 from the Logitech Profiler? The path I have for Race 07 in the profiler is in the steam folder so I don't know why it's not starting the game in steam.

Do you think it's because I am just used to a easier car or do you have to change your profiler/wheel or FFB settings with each car you drive?Īnd for the Logitech Profiler, I set up a Race 07 profile and it says "Play race 07" and I click on that and the game starts and runs fine and everything but it doesn't play through steam? I can't hit shift-tab to see my friends list or anything like that. Then I tried driving a corvette I think it was and I couldn't keep the thing on the road and it was like I couldn't control it, I assume it's because it was much faster and the car drove differently, which I would expect but it was a lot more different feeling then I thought it would be. I've been doing a custom championship with the WTCC 06 cars and I find I can drive pretty well and do well against easy AI and keep the car on track.

So after playing Race 07 for a bit I have a few questions about the game and about the Logitech Profiler and track packs.
